Aggie Reinhardt lives in her head, daydreaming to fill the void in her life that's been present for as long as she can remember. Her mother practically lives at work while her father all but vanished without a trace when she was a baby. Left with no map on navigating the real world through a friendless few years of high school, Aggie creates a new one where she's free to be herself and find people who accept her for who she is. However when she's forced to start seeing a therapist, this made up world collapses, as she's thrown to the wolves with no place to hide anymore. Years later, a cruel prank forces Aggie to return to her land of dreams when the friends she built as a safe-haven quite literally come to life. They are not content on being abandoned and so they pull Aggie into the world that she created to confront her with its current state of corruption and ruin. Is it possible that everyone who called her crazy was right, or will Aggie find herself through the maze in her mind?
