under edit. the first version of each chapter will be noticeably shorter  and be extremely bad as it is just an initial outline for the plot. i will later go through all the chapters and edit it, adding more to the story as i go. This is an extremely slow updating book and will not be complete for a while.~~~~~ To make this short, it's about a kid who runs away from home to join the army and ends up in something that may be apocalyptic in proportion. She's feisty. I think she's perfect for you." I glare at them. "I don't want a pet human. That's your disgusting fetish, and I'll have no part in it." "Oh come on Captain," the first soldier whines, "You don't have to fuck her, just train her to be obedient. Surely you can control one measly wild human? You are a captain after all. When you're done, you can just get rid of her, like I do with my humans." What the fuck? For a brief moment my fear is replaced by anger. Who do they think they are, talking about me like I'm some kind of wild animal? "Get the fuck away from me! You freaks!" I screech. The first soldier just flashes an evil grin. They don't budge. This book is is written in the far future were war is raging throughout the world permanently halting all innovations. Humanity wanting to finally bring it all to an end only finds one way to solve it. End humanity as we know it. Governments across the globe found that humanity wasn't what it was before and had become dark and terrible to live in, so to fix that they made a small utopia pulling in families, scientists, and important government officials to create the perfect pair of humans. Those two humans would be trained to kill what humanity has become and start it all over, so the world would be a better place. But once they make the female, they find that she is not like her partner. She has a different goal in mind than restarting humanity. This is my first book, so it may have a few mess ups but I hope you enjoy, I have worked hard to at least get this out. The Phoenices Volume 1 - Expired by NyxEridanus

This is the novel I'm writing for National Novel Writing Month, I'm planning on it being approx. 50,000 words, that's 1,667 words per day. This project might continue on into December if it gets enough reads and support, that being a big if. If it's not getting the attention I want it to get for the publishing to be a good idea, then I won't work with it anymore or waste anymore time on a dying novel. You may have noticed I have changed the title, I'm planning on making this a short series, maybe four or five books, unless I can keep coming up with a plot that won't get boring after that. As of right now, I don't even know what's going to happen on the next page. I'm planning on publishing this soon, it'll be available on Amazon when I do if anyone wants to purchase it and help a girl out. I'll post about it when it is available, keep an eye out for notifications and updates on how the editing is coming. This story is about y/n's backstory and how it affects her relationship with Zenitsu. It is a very VERY slow moving story but once it starts moving, it picks up very fast (around chapter 3). It shows that, even though you both are facing challenges, you can still work through them to become better. I will try to upload once a week. (Zenitsu makes his first appearance in chapter 8. Chapter 1-7 is just backstory and training but I do suggest that you read it because it literally makes everything make so much more sense and gives everything so much more meaning). The chapters are very very short, the shortest being about 400 words long and the longest being 5,000 words long. Most of the stories are a little over 1,000 words long. NGL I have over 40 chapters scheduled so you guys are good until at least July lmao. Just be a little patient at the beginning and it gets really interesting! Thank you for reading!
