Highschool Sweethearts by K-good
16 parts Complete Mature
Katelyn has been in and out of the foster system since her mother died when she was young. After her father gets put in jail again, she gets sent to live with the Thomas family. The Thomas's are a very well-off family with four boys. Their house is usually the main hangout for the boys and their friends. Kate hasn't ever lived with siblings before, let alone this many boys, so it's a big change for her. Daniel is your typical high school football player; he's got the looks, the muscles, talent, and even the overbearing dad who wants him to go pro. Daniel, however, really couldn't care less about a career in football, he loves the game, but it's his dad's dream for him to go pro, not his own. At least not anymore. He spends most of his free time away from his house and hanging out at either the Thomas or the Copperfield house. He can't wait to go off to college with his friends and get away from his dad and the stupid little town he grew up in. How will things change for them over the next year? This will be a series of 4, but the other books will be spin-offs and can be read as stand-alone books. They will, however, be published in chronological order. Full warning, this book is much shorter than I intend on making the spin-offs. I was planning on writing book two as the first in the series but found myself needing more of a prequel to all three other books, and so I chose to write something from their high school years. Bonus points for giving Daniel a love interest that was more than just a name.

"If you turn your back to me again, you better be bending over, sweetheart." *** Everyone warns you about boys who go looking for troubles, who have bruised knuckles and split lips, whose eyes are so dark that it seems like they could swallow oceans and come out alive, about the boys who look like danger, but no one warns about boys who stay silent for way too long, or ones with rings under their eyes, boys with sad eyes and boys who whisper things so sweet, so quietly that you wonder if he was an angel. Everyone warns you about the bad boys, but no one seems to warn you about the broken ones. Bar Red was a broken boy who finally finds someone to help mend his scattered pieces. Everyone saw him as the untrustworthy, unstable beast who was more than willing to punch anyone's face in. Swear words and bad habits mixed with smirks and wicked grins are enough to ward anyone off. But, apparently for Clementine, that's exactly what pulls her in. She has no clue what she's getting into but she's about to find out. She wasn't innocent, not by far, but she had dignity, a warm aura, niceness, and stubbornness that could rival a mule. Mix that with Bar's possessiveness and overprotective behavior, some interesting situations will definitely arise. Adding in the fact that Clementine had to tutor Bar for the rest of the school year and his almost instinctual urge to be apart of her life, they are bound to get close. Bar swears, Clementine hates it. He fights, she glares while bandaging up his knuckles. She reads instead of eats and he refuses dinner until she joins him. He is rude and she ignores him until he apologizes. Both, easily, frustrate the other while simultaneously falling into love. Broken boys are the only ones that can fix themselves so will this broken boy manage to do so before he drives away the one girl who wiggled her way past every barrier? This is the story of a broken bad boy clashing with the sad good girl. * #1 in the Red series Stand alone

Olivia never really paid any attention to the guys in school and she's never let herself fall in love. Ever. With college just months away, she had no interest in beginning a new relationship. Besides, she just wanted to enjoy her senior year with minimal distractions. Then her adoptive parents decide to foster an arrogant, irritating guy, who frustrated her to no end. But then tension, oh sweet tension, grows between them whenever the other is near. How is Olivia supposed to fight the inevitable if they live alone in the same house? How is she supposed to not become attached or fall for his cool, flirty, and sometimes reckless personality? Especially when they both forget about the rules. Tyler didn't expect anyone to want to foster him, but SGA was getting old anyway. With his father out of his life, it was time to finally live it without risking getting arrested for doing anything else illegal. Olivia wasn't supposed to become part of his world. How could she? They met as kids-classmates until the fourth grade-where he had a quiet crush on her before she transferred schools. Years later, fate brought them back together in high school. What started as friendship quickly turned into something deeper, and for four years, they were inseparable. They had plans, dreams, and a love that felt unshakable. Until the day she broke up with him and disappeared from his life without a single explanation. Years passed, but the unanswered questions never left him. Neither did the feelings. He tried to move on, to forget, but no one ever came close to being what she was to him. And just when he thought he'd finally buried the past, she came back-this time, as his fiancée in a marriage neither of them chose. She tells herself it's just duty. He tells himself he's over it. But the past lingers between them, unspoken and unresolved. The tension simmers, the familiarity remains, and despite everything, so does the pull between them. He fell first. And even after all these years, he never truly stopped. She thought walking away once was hard-she never imagined falling again would be even harder.
