It was what Lana Lewis thought as she watched the trailer for Dr. Strange, Multiverse of Madness. She'd already thought of that with the Loki series, and then the MCU's third Spider-Man movie, but her beliefs would soon change.
She would never have fantasized, sitting on her bed at Stanford, with the computer on her lap and a pack of potato chips beside her, how much her life would change in minutes or how she would change, in every way possible.
When her door was thrown open and three bullets shattered in her chest, she didn't even have time to evaluate the consequences. And maybe it was because it was all she wanted and, maybe, because she was glad that someone had finally dared to do it, but as she collapsed on her bed, she just thought about how happy and blessed she was that it was finally over.
