Jayde was just a normal teenager in high school, eager to hurry up and finish her last year. All she wanted to do was finish school and her top priority was getting accepted into Marshall university in West Virginia for her mother who had passed away.
But she got a little side tracked when she reconnected with some old friends, Kaidence, who was a year older and also the schools badass and Stacey who she knew since they were little kids and was also the schools cheer captain.

Kyla goes to King, which is the top basketball team in the conference. Courtney and Maya both attend Valley High, who haven't beaten King in ages. Maya is a new student. She becomes friends with Kyla when they room together at a basketball camp before school starts.
