Tara Harris is a 16 year old who is spending a week in Barcelona,Spain to help out at her aunt's smoothie shop. Wade Meyer is a 17 year old who is staying at his family's Barcelona oceanfront vacation home. Tara and Wade are both going into senior year old high school. Tara is turning 17 in August and Wade is turning 18 in November. Tara comes from a lower middle class family who can barely afford to send Tara to Barcelona. Wade comes from an upper class, extremely rich family. They meet on Tara's first day in Barcelona.
