I thought I was alone. That I'll always be alone. That no one will ever want to be with me. I was okay with that. Why not? I was the freak. I am the freak. Or shall I say We.

I never thought there was anybody else in the world like me. With my "God Forsaken" feature.

Until I met him.

"Yo-your eyes. They're..." I couldn't finish my sentence.

His jaw tensed and his body went rigid. All amusement gone from his face. You could unmistakably see fire in his multi-colored eyes. He wasn't happy.

"Yeah, they're different. Not the blue you thought they were huh? Let me guess, you think I'm a freak? You're going to tell the world my secret? Make me into a monster?" He spit out with so much anger, I could feel it rolling off him in waves. I was speechless.

But before I could muster up some words he walked away. He was so angry. But why?

"I think I'm gay." I say, leaving out the part about my... exposing dream about him last night. I watched his expression, waiting for some sign that he was angry. I waited for him to call me a faggot, to curse me off and tell me he never wanted to see me again. Instead, I was greeted with his perfect toothy smile. "That's great man, I'm of proud you." He says, patting my arm as he stuffed another cracker in his mouth. "It takes some real balls to come out to someone." He says, his beautiful green eyes blazing into mine. I felt myself become flustered at his gaze. "Uh, Yeah, Thanks." I stumbled out, "You're not mad?" I ask. His expression turns to hurt as he crinkles his eyebrows. "Why the hell would I be mad?" He asks, hesitating on the crackers and pushing them away. "I just thought-it's just- well... you just always seem so pissed when someone mentions the word gay." I spit out words, scared for his reaction. He sighs, "That doesn't fucking mean I hate gays. Normally when I do that it's because someone's using the word 'gay' to hate on them, it just pisses me off, you know?" He asks, bringing the crackers back into his lap and biting into them. "Plus-" He adds on, "You're my best friend, if anything, you being gay is a blessing. I'll always support you." He says, glancing at me through the side of his eyes. I look away, towards the door to hide the crimson blush that I feel spread over my face. "Thanks." I all but squeak out. And that's the day I realized, I have a faint crush on my best friend. <><><><><< THIS BOOK IS BEING *MAJORLY* EDITED. You've probably heard stories about how a good girl falls in love with a bad boy or vice versa. However, in this scenario, despite the fact that they were never supposed to be together, they were asked or, more accurately, told to stay away from each other. He had also been informed that "𝐬𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐑𝐒𝐄." It's definitely not a story of a King and his Queen, it's a story of a King and his Knight. And how two people find their way to each other. --- He smirked "Are you trying to seduce me, knight?" he started to play along, he tugged a strand of my hair behind my ear and his thumb caressing my cheek. While his delated orbs never left mine. But I'm not gonna let you win, Ryan, and I'll make sure of it. "Do you want me to seduce you, King?" I seductively remarked raising a brow. He slightly laughed "you can't seduce me, knight" attitude dripping from his voice. I smirked and replied "I'm gonna take that as a challenge" my fingers trailed down to his lips and stopped at his lower lip. "Sure, you have a whole night for it" he smirked. --- IT'S NOT A MAFIA BOOK

Like the ocean

His gaze was piercing and endless. His eyes vibrant, blue and luminous; like the ocean. Every time he looked at me it was as though they resembled a hurricane, fierce and captivating. His hair was shining in the pale light of the rising moon and setting sun. It glimmered gold, like crisp leaves in Autumn and fell along his face. The water dripping, falling upon his smooth muscles. Everything about him made my insides go crazy, I couldn't think properly. The ocean crashing against the shore gave me a lulling temptation to just step closer. His face was chiseled by God himself, and his lips, oh his lips. They were pink and pouted; they looked so soft, so poisonously kissable. The desire was inextinguishable. The fire in my heart could not be burned out. I just wanted to know. I needed to know. I leaned in and our lips met in a kiss that felt like every bridge that had ever burned, had been burned for me. It felt like nothing imaginable, almost like time had stopped in place and we were frozen in this moment. No rest or peace was placed along those ominous eyes that resembled the chaos beneath the crashing waves. When he leaned in and closed them, they suddenly looked calm. Like the ocean.
