Typical Secrets
Two seniors that only have one thing in common, going to the same school. They hate each other because of their friend groups and past. As the two seventeen-year-old get forced to hang out together, things turn more and more complicated. Alissa wonders if Ryder still remembers or if she's just the one holding on to bad memories with him. She has always had a thing for him, but has he had a thing for her? Ryder was a part of the bad boy groups, the stoners that hung out outside of stores or outside of the school. His friends were annoying and always tended to mess with the girls. He's one of the more quiet kind but continues hanging out with them. Alissa is a part of the quiet group, that doesn't mean that she doesn't stick up for herself or argues with people least every day. She hangs out with at least two girls every day because she has no one else to stick with. She didn't mind, she didn't necessarily need many friends. People didn't like her because of her ways of saying the truth whenever it needed to be told. But this isn't your typical sassy and bad boy story, not at all. This book contains ; - body shaming. - toxic family. - purposely starving herself. - mature language - anxiety; anxiety and panic attacks.Concluida
Emily's Escape
(Completed) Emily is suffering from anorexia; she just won't admit it to herself or anyone else. She doesn't want nor need any help, according to herself. Carter sees her struggle. He wants to help her. Will Emily finally accept help? And will she accept the help from someone she would have never imagined? And what will happen when she discovers that there's more to Carter too? ............... This book is about suffering and not admitting it. It's about getting help from a surprising source and realizing the feelings you get in the making. It's about sorrow, love, hatred, and a lot more! The book spans from when they're 17/18 to when they're 37, and you get an insight into their lives for a long period of time. I really hope you enjoy my book! Please let me know what you think! ::::::::::::::: TRIGGER WARNING This book is about anorexia and eating disorders. If you suffer from anorexia or any other eating disorder I do NOT recommend you reading this book. Though it is about recovery, it is graphic and you are in the thoughts of an anorexic. This may cause a trigger. Please know and respect your own boundaries and limits:) (Nr. 2 in eatingdisorders, August 12)Concluida
Fragile
Is weight what really matters in life? Maybe it is, maybe it's not. Maybe some people care about it more than others. Livia, 17-year-old girl gets to experience the real raw world. Friends, best friends, are suddenly making her conscious of her body. The comments are driving Livia to the deep end, suffering endlessly from the need to starve, to always be more beautiful. Can she be saved anymore, or does she even want to be saved? Disclaimer: English isn't my native language, so I'm very sorry if there's spelling mistakes, etc!! Also, this is my first real book here and my writing gets better throughout the chapters!!! The first chapters are clingy, but it gets better<3 ⚠️TW⚠️ I do not recommend this to anyone recovering or struggling with an eating disorder, or younger readers. This story is based on true stories and can be a bit rough. Story contains: ed, anorexia, sh, violence

The Fat, The Thick, The Skinny, And ME✔
"Because you have parents that love you. You have parents that support you and yet you think your life is so bad just because stupid kids pick on you." "I... don't have it easy." I mumbled. "You don't know. You can't even imagine how it is. Being bullied every single day just because you're you. They don't even see me as a person, you know? I'm just it. I'm just a thing. I'm not 'Quince the person'. I'm 'Quince the looser', the venting tool, the dirt beneath your feet." ~~~ Quince has been bullied, fat shamed, and terrorized by the people at her school ever since junior high. It hasn't gotten any better over the past years especially with being in a small town where a majority of the population were "model worthy." She was left out of place, but not for long! When a group of new kids come to town Quince will join their forces and learn the true value of self beauty. Though it will be difficult, Quince is determined to show her town that beauty lies in the core, but what happens when Quince's task becomes something much more bigger then she anticipated? Join Quince and her friends as they uncover the true meaning of loving one's self and the strength of friendship on a life changing adventure in this coming of age novel. ~~~ ☆Please be advised that this book deals with self-harm.
