Lucy feels as though she has reached a wall following the Grand Magic Games. Needing to be saved at all times and never succeeding. Always having to be and losing her magic first. She leaves the guild after reaching her lowest point and becoming overwhelmed by depression and self-doubt.

Juvia, when all has been spoken. Juvia is unable to continue.  The Hot and cold by Grey and only being needed when he needed her. Only becoming relevant to him when he needed her gradually wore her down until she eventually realized she was changing for him and that she had lost sight of who she really was. Juvia leaves grey and the guild after spotting Lucy getting ready to go, even if it means losing the sun in her life once more.
