Third Wheelers

"So umm...What are you doing on your phone?"

I look up at her and we lock eyes. This time I got a good look at her face. Big brown eyes, naturally long eyelashes, dark skin, and a head full of curls.

She's pretty. Too bad her mouth opens without my permission.

"So umm...Do you ever shut the fuck up?" I don't bother waiting for her response, I grab my shit and I leave to make my call to Randy. It's not like he had a real job, all he does is sell drugs, smokes crack, and sits on the couch like the lazy motherfucker he is. If he doesn't pick up on the first call, we're gonna have a problem.

Blessing and Hudson are nothing alike...But are they really?

Forced to sit next to their best friends, whom are in a relationship, they become the third wheels.

Blessing's talkative and childish nature annoys the hell out of Hudson. Nonetheless, there was something about her that pulled him closer.

Hudson is the type of guy Blessing's parents warned her about, but she felt intrigued by his "bad boy" demeanor.

As time progresses, a great spark develops between the two.

Too bad neither one of them knew how, nor wanted, to put out the flame.
