𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡 𝙞𝙩 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 • ᴛᴏᴋʏᴏ ʀᴇᴠᴇɴɢᴇʀs

Hanagaki wasn't a name many knew about, despite it being a family name pretty prominent in history. But, to those who knew, it was a name both respected, loved, and feared.

Respected for the previous descendants who had partially formed what Japan was today. Loved for anyone with the name were selfless and devoted to helping anyone who needs it. Feared for the curse that brings every Hanagaki to their knees with madness if they don't have an anchor to reality.

Hanagaki Takemichi was a child prone to violence and anger as she grew. Before it could become something permanent in her psyche, Takemichi's grandmother had her join iaidō as a way to ease the curse inherently born in every Hanagaki.

It worked wonderfully and would continue to if Takemichi lived life as a below average girl, even if she feels it still. She has good friends, a wonderful girlfriend, and an outlet.

Unfortunately, she's thrust into a world of delinquents, all because she got sick and tired of her friends being beaten up every day. Her stupid cousin is going to get someone killed one day with his lies. Oh well. She'll make the best of her situation, even if it means the curse gets closer to the surface each time she fights.

Or, I read some Tokyo Revengers fanfiction (before watching/reading Tokyo Revengers), got this idea, then watched four and a half episodes of the anime. In that order. Hope you enjoy it!
