Sonic... A friend of Maria & Shadow... Sonic was created along with Shadow to heal Maria while GUN just wanted to use them as weapons.
Sonic The Hedgehog was a friend of Shadow.. Shadow would be protective of Sonic. Sonic was also created to heal Maria, thus, befriending her.
Sonic was just like Shadow. Chaos abilities, speed, etc. But Sonic was just a little faster than Shadow.
