He left because he couldn't control himself anymore, as much as he wanted to stay and be with them, he couldn't, cause if he stayed, he doesn't know if he would last long, he couldn't even look at them the same anymore becuase of how many times he watched them die in each timeline. He felt like staying with them was just gonna ruin their future again and with him on the verge of insanity... it wasn't gonna cut it, therefore, he left without leaving anything behind, except his gang uniform that he placed on the stairs of Musashi shrine in hopes that someone would find it and would hint that he left for good. and after that, he was never seen again, Until 12 years later...

This is the story of Hanagaki Takemichi, the hero that not only saved the fearless Tokyo Manji Gang from going rotten but also the hero that saved the futures of it's members, even if it meant sacrificing his own in the process.
