Legend has it, if you stand at the edge of the cliff at the crack of dawn holding a candle and your most beloved possession, you can open a doorway between dimensions. 

So when Calista Davis turns a deaf ear to every mock she's gotten from the people of Erini, and stands at the edge of the cliff holding a candle and her mother's pendant, she's not sure if she can leave or something else comes through. 

Suddenly, her ever so lonely life isn't lonely anymore as a chiseled face with a pair of scintillating red eyes, who claims to be the King of the planet Vakenes, appears out of nowhere. Her boring days take a dramatic turn and soon she's visiting planets she'd never heard the names of. In addition, she gets surrounded by troops of vicious demons, blood curses, and the threats of the demon protector, who wants her dead.
