"So..." He begins, taking a plastic water bottle out of his bag. He mockingly extends the bottle towards me like it is supposed to be a microphone.
"Excuse me, Ma'am. What do you do for a living?"
I gasp in a dramatic way pretending to be shocked.
"I am a professional cliff jumper!"
Before I can complete the sentence, he throws his head back and laughs. A contagious laugh.

Anneliese tried her hardest to be outgoing, her empathetic heart guiding her through every encounter. She is a young woman who has struggled finding a safe place to express herself.
