Will Ashby is the all-around superstar on campus. He's practically royalty because he's the running back on the Ohio State Football team: one of the best college football teams in America. Will is the person guys want to be and guy girls want to be with. But in actuality, he'd rather blend in with the background noise. His only focus has been football and finishing his degree. Si-woo(17yrs) is a student who goes to Seongnam boys(SB)High-school. He is academically the best in his school. He has a small group of "friends" and plays basketball. He is from a well known family in Korea so he often gets bullied for having everything come "easy" to him, but at what costs? He has asthma. He is chill and doesn't hold a grudge, but if he wants to he won't hold a grudge he will give you the consequences right there and then. Aera is a talented 17-year-old student at Dawn Senior Girls School (DSG). Introverted and creative. She is very close with her brother and absolutely despises SB the boys school across the road from hers so much so she can't even bear to see their faces. With close friends Dae, Hana, and Eun-ji, Aera faces senior school challenges with their support. Not Andy Being the girl with no friends is never easy- especially when you have major trust issues and problems that can only be discussed with a shrink. That's why instead of slowly letting people into her life, she chose to shut them out completely. It seems easier that way, which is until she moves to Bangor, Maine and catches the eye of Cole, the football quarterback and heart throb of the school. He makes her feel things that she didn't think we're capable, and he shows how to make a bad situation into something semi-tolerable. It gets her thinking that maybe cliche boys with secrets aren't such a bad thing. During their 17th year, Andy and Cole must face the problems of high school, social hierarchy, their pasts, relationships, trust, friendships, and even love. Both of them knowing that stories like this never happen to kids like them, but they're willing to try anyway.

No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote. As I transcribe it here, I have tried to update it a bit and give the characters/story more depth than what I had when I was younger. Hopefully it all gets pulled together!
