During a week long banquet that gathered all the great clans to clear the town which is home to the Mo Mansion. When Wei Wuxian return to the world as Mo Xuanyu, he is tasked to keep an eye on the young lady of the Mo Mansion, Mo Xingyi. He reunites with Lan Wangji and hop on the case of the many beasts and spirits that are suddenly attracted to the area. Something is attracting the beasts and spirits to the town.  Meanwhile, Jingyi and Jin Chan notice something weird about Mo Xingyi's servant, A-Nuan. Mo Xingyi, herself, has her own agenda tied to her past and the Lanling Jin Clan. Good or bad? Nothing will stop her from reaching her ultimate goal. Is this truly a battle between evil beasts and good cultivators or a battle between friends and enemies; love and hatred.
