In the world of Dragonfire, anything is possible. Flying, teleportation, invisibility, the ability to create a lightning storm on a whim...anything can be done. And anything can exist. Goblins, Orcs, Dragons, Dwarves, Kitsunes...there are countless races, and countless abilities. A world of fantasy in which anything is achievable. Or so it seems. After all, everything has a cost. And victory...victory is the most costing of all.

Across the Black Sea, guarded by the Leviathan, there exists a large land separated into five territories. Celestia, Arvan, Ingres, Illicen, and Arumi. These five territories are named after those who control them. At least, that is how it used to be. From a distant land, the Snake Kingdom managed to bypass the Leviathan, and invade these five territories! Under the guidance of General Clauve, they crushed everyone in sight, until their only remaining opponent was Celestia. But they made a mistake, and Celestia capitalized. In a crushing defeat, the Snake Kingdom was bested after nearly 8 years of conflict.

After the war ended, Albedo Aria, a soldier from Celestia, was promoted to the rank of General. But she didn't feel like a hero. Suffering from severe PTSD, this story follows her as she tries to overcome the nightmares of war, and move on from the terrible things she was forced to do. She was raised to be a soldier, and joined the war from the age of eleven. As a soldier of Celestia, she could never, and still cannot ever disobey any orders. When war calls, she must answer. Whether she is truly willing to or not. But after four years without conflict, surely things couldn't reach that state again?

Or perhaps that isn't the case. After all, her dear cousin must deliver a letter to her. A letter telling her that the Snake Kingdom is on the rise in their very own land. A letter telling her that every sliver of happiness she has gained after the war ended will be lost. A letter telling her that she must return to war...

Dragonista: Darkness Arisen by SapphireBreeze-1
25 parts Complete
Fairy Primrose's dragon life had never been nastier. It was never supposed to be like this. She lived in the only town in all of Dragonista where the five elements could remain in harmony. She had books to read, knowledge to study, and the most caring mother and the sweetest little brother a young dragon could ever ask for. There were occasional rumps and obstacles in her life, like how the five elements had never granted her their strength no matter how hard she tried, but those were far from raising her concern. Her life was free from adventures, and she was glad of that. But then everything changed. Something was stirring in the forest beside her home, threatening its inhabitants and the town dragons alike. Things only became worse when she learned that her un-awoken element seemed to be the key in defending everything she'd cared for from its deadly jaws. Fairy found herself thrown head-first into an adventure she never wanted. Even as she tried to dig deeper, she only received more mysteries. But she was hopeful. Every problem must have a solution, like how every story has to come to an end. Surely, she will easily find a way to find her element, make some new friends, and possibly claw out some hidden conspiracies. And after that, she would be able to return to her peaceful life once again. Silver Town will always be her home, and there was absolutely no way this small adventure will force her to leave it, or worse, kill her right on the spot. Right? ***Author's note*** This is a rewritten version of my story "Dragonista: A Tale of Light and Dark". The story has been completely overhauled, that it is now (hopefully) much more interesting to read. For those few that had read the original story, please accept my deepest thanks. You encouraged me to carry on. --Sapphire Breeze the canopy dragon

47 parts Complete Mature
Two years after a deadly war with the Snake Kingdom, the grand Kingdom of Celestia has been restored. Our beloved hero, Albedo Aria, has officially become the Acting Grandmaster and brought Celestia to prosperity. But right as they reach the height of this prosperity, an unexpected turn of events occurs. Arvan, a longtime ally Kingdom to Celestia, is ravaged by overseas invaders known as "The Twilight Covenant" - a mass collective of Kingdoms and Guilds brought together as one group. The Arvanians, proud and vengeful, seek shelter and unity in Celestia, hellbent on destroying the Covenant that took their home. But the Covenant has plans for peace in Celestia, claiming they seek the same artifact the Snake Kingdom fought over so that they can use its power to attain world peace. But it isn't long after hearing this that Albedo discovers a crucial detail. The artifact is a vessel for evil, and though its power is tempting, opening it may very well lead to the end of the world. Because of this, the artifact was hidden away so that it could not bring any destruction. Yet there remains those who seek it, believing its power will grant them any wish. But if they find and unlock it, then the world shall be consumed by the demonic power within. Entangled in the crossfire between Arvan and The Twilight Covenant, Albedo does not wish to make the same mistake Celestia did with the Snake Kingdom. She does not wish to return to war over the artifact, believing that it will only lead to more conflict in the future. And so, partnered with her lover, Melusine Kei, and her sister, Asami, she begins seeking a way to end the conflict peacefully, and to stop the conflicts surrounding the artifact once and for all.

"For time twists all stories with age." 🗡️💖FINISHED BOOK 1 💖🗡️ SUMMARY TEASER One would think a princess has it easy, or extremely hard. Vaylene, on the rarer hand, has nothing at all. In her world, staying inside of the walls is key to protection. Regular citizens rarely, hardly leave and travel into the dark woods. Vaylene realizes with a fright that she never knew she was so afraid of the night until she looked at those same forests with the moon held high. Because...what lies beyond the meadow was nothing to be excited about. So she's told. And yet, when she's offered a piece to savor with an nasty, monstrous aftertaste, why does she feel the blood rushing through her veins? Why does she feel the need to run and never look back but stays still all the same? In the movies and in the stories, it all ends up well. She gets the happy ending. But what if she realizes too late life wasn't a book? What if things get more complicated than that, and even the villain isn't clear? What happens when she ventures outside of the walls that have been created to protect her, sister in tow, in search of a reason? Pulled into a world of monsters schemes, adventures, Chain-Toppers and war working under the only thing remotely close to a demon, she has no hope other than to save her sister. How much can she get away with? And how much will she lose? When the evil is unclear and nothing is simple like it should be in a fairy tale, is the past really so simple and plain as it's been told? If not, how will everyone move forward from the haunting past of MoonCaster looming over every shoulder? Could anyone really forget the damage done by merciless teeth? The action in this story progresses as the plot does! So please me patient 🥺🥺 Thank you for discovering and taking the time to explore my worl
