Catherine Michelle Henderson, a simple teenage girl just trying to figure out where she belongs in this world. She's a genius, nerdy, popular girl in Hawkins, Indiana. Some would describe her as a sassy, sarcastic, badass. Other's would tell you she has a heart of gold. Being the protective older sister of her little brother, Dustin and designated babysitter of the party. 

Her life is quite literally turned upside down. Strange things are happening in Hawkins. She and her friends must navigate their way through the mysteries and terror's that befall them. Can they all survive?

If constantly being in life threatening danger wasn't wasn't hectic enough, she's also dealing with her very best friend, Steve Harrington. Struggling to keep her feelings at bay, as he dates her friend, Nancy Wheeler. Her feelings get tested, pushed, and pulled to the limits. Will she break? Can she stay strong? Does he feel the same way about her? Or is he too clueless to notice her?
