My life has always been terrible. I was always bullied at school. I don't know why, it just seemed that people didn't like my presence. The guys would beat me up and I'd get in trouble when I defended myself, for the teachers never saw what they did. The girls would trick me, making me think they liked me and laughing at me because of it. I was always in the principle's office for one reason or another, but I wasn't a bad student. I actually got really good grades. To make matters worse, my mother wanted nothing to do with me. She'd lock me in the basement, sometimes for days, with no food or warmth. My father would then sneak down and beat me before raping me. So, naturally, I wanted to die. But, for some reason, I can't die. No matter what I do, I can't stay dead. Either caused by my anxiety or troubles that I don't acknowledge. People always say that there's meaning behind dreams and I'm here to figure out what it means or just to share an interesting tale. Some people have wacky dreams but for some reason mine seems to be pretty creative and straight forward that's good enough to write a story for. Just a dream (I can feel you staring at me)
He still remembers it. The sound of bones breaking. The ringing. The voices. Their voices. His voice. But it shouldn't be possible. He sat in his bed, the darkness of the night making it hard to see at first. Sweat on his face- no whole body made it seem like just a bad dream. It was just that, wasn't it? Just a bad dream. But why was he feeling like he was being watched? Someones, or somethings eyes on his neck. Just waiting for a moment of weakness. Waiting for Finney to let his guard down, just to snap it. Something that only worsens it though, is that the other boys, which he had dreamed about, seem weird, strangely different than before. Or, Finney wakes up in the past with memories of the basement, but is telling himself it was nothing but a bad dream. But, of course, it is not. Because what kind of person am I to just let him and the other grave-boys just forget? Fair warning for this fic, English isn't my first language, so mistakes can/will happen.
