After Nancy wakes up outside her body and her body is in a coma, she is horrified to discover that she has become a half-dead.
A being whose body exists in a state of limbo between life and death.
Because she is bound to her body, she cannot leave the hospital and must remain there as a ghostly apparition until she wakes up again or dies.
