Nightmare had been alone in his head for the longest time. For 500 years he was able to gain more power, a castle, a gang, and a reputation of one of the most dangerous beings in the multiverse. But when Dream had broken out of stone, someone else made themselves known, someone who should have been dead. OR Corrupted Nightmare is a parasite and Passive Nightmare refuses to die. The god had given him a home, friends, a new purpose, a second chance at life to prove his worth. In exchange Cross served him, stayed by his side, devoted his life to him in such a manner that it almost could be called worshiping. He was a god, afterall. Cross knew he would do anything for Nightmare. He'd kill for him, had killed for him, he'd protect him, even die for him. And if that couldn't be achieved, well, then he'd die with him.
