Kara's world falls apart when her lover, Ted, decided to cut the tie between them. She struggled to accept the truth that she would never have him back. She found herself closing her doors to almost all the people around her, even to her best friend, Sean.

Hoping to get better, she decided to go back to her hometown and restart. She found a new love in the person of Tyler. She lived in a harmonious place, ate good food, and wished nothing more than having her brother back in the country. Everything was in place then--not until the day she found herself in chains. No matter how hard she tried to explain everything that actually happened in the store robbery, it was difficult to convince the spunky yet hard-to-please inspector, March. Meeting teenagers in detention, she soon finds herself needing their company the moment she was released.

But Kara encounters another problem. Chased after by the real suspects of the robbery, Kara's life spins and never comes back to what it used to be. From an unexciting to a thrilling life, where nothing is certain, how would she break free from all the misfortune that seemed to be fated forever?
