Akaashi keiji, an average highschool student, wakes up one today to find his entire world upside down - with no one else but his long term crush, bokuto koutarou to his rescue.

Akaashi Keiji is your average 17 year old, with his future all planned out in front of him-be amongst the top three scorers in class, win spring nationals and figure out how to get over his longstanding crush. When he's not receiving love letters or studying, he's busy practicing volleyball. With his second year starting, he couldn't be more excited to start as the official setter of his highschool volleyball team and finally win the Spring Nationals.

However there's a tiny problem as he's realised, he's in love with Bokuto Koutarou, his senior and the star ace of the volleyball team.

Bokuto Koutarou is a 3rd year student at Fukurodani High. Known for his ridiculous hairstyle and volleyball skills that put the major players to shame, he has a mischievous charm that brings butterflies flying everywhere in Akaashi's stomach.

Also, he's probably straight as a pole so there's nothing Akaashi can do, right?

So what happened when fate decides to play a trick, and brings them together into a whirlwind of events, testing their friendship, identities and more? Will their story finally bloom or remain just a beautiful what-if?
