This is Not My Home

What defines a home? Maybe it's where we lay our heads at night. Maybe it's the people we love and care for. Maybe it's a place away from civilization, or a feeling that can come only when we are at our greatest moments.
Ollie Sky thought she knew the answer, enrolling into an academy she'd been asked to join. She was going to find a new home, one away from her family. She was going to make friends and join communities. Learn new things and perfect old skills.
Life had been good, living in that academy. As one of its youngest students, she was always daunted by the large hallways, the professors, the students themselves. But most of all, the technology.
Including time travel.
Looking back on the question she was asked so long ago, it becomes obsolete and answerless. She has no home, no academy, no family, and no friends. A sixteen-year-old, trapped in a timeline that is not her own.
