Castiel Novak and Dean Winchester met on their way to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in first year. They got off on the wrong foot, but soon their friendship blossomed. Over the course of 5 years, Cas began to fall for Dean. Castiel hates the struggle of fancying his straight best friend, and knows Dean could never feel the same, but his love for Dean Winchester isn't fading anytime soon.
When Dean first met Cas, he found something alluring about that blue eyed boy. Even though they ended up sorted into separate houses, Dean made it his mission to find out more about Cas and to become his friend.
