Eleanor lives a relatively comfortable life with her grandparents in the suburbs of an urban city. She has her own hobbies and desires, but she's never satisfied with her abilities and lacks true confidence in herself. Maybe some part of her wishes for change, for excitement, or something like that. She gets what she wants, in a less than normal form-- she witnesses a demon girl disintegrate into flame after falling through a void in a storage room.
What happens next will change Eleanor forever, her perception of the world, and how she connects with others. Maybe she'll find love, too. But will all of that come easily to her?
