Elizabeth Young was a simple seventeen year old girl who was living what many teenage women would consider the dream. Elizabeth was very well known at her school coastal high and luckily all of her popularity was for the most part positive. It all started off as a normal day for young Elizabeth, but it did not however end as natural, Elizabeth had found out that a close friend of hers had been in what many thought was a freak accident, but Elizabeth refuses to believe it all to be just an accident, so she dedicates herself to finding out the truth behind the death and future death's to occur.

Moving from her childhood home in Arizona to New Mexico at the start of Junior year was never a part of Betty's plan. But sometimes when parents are involved, plans change. So now the nice girl had to start over at a new school in a new State. And when the (maybe not so bad) bad boy, Eli, gets involved, it might be hard to be known as 'the nice girl'.
