[Disclaimer!: I do not own the Owl House or its characters.] The students knew what the "Day of Unity" really was. Their parents didn't believe them, but as long as it was stopped. It wasn't a problem. Well, until Emperor Belos decided that they were too exhausting to be left alone anymore. A barrier was created that day. The rebels took the Knee half. Belos took the Head half. It couldn't be flown over. There was no way around it. One would need to walk through to get to the other side of the broken Isles. That journey was too dangerous to be done. Forcing both sides to keep to themselves until it came down. No survivors were recorded, fueling the rage towards the rebels. As one of them was accused of creating the barrier. This unstable, involuntary truce would not last forever. All either side could do was prepare for the increasingly violent fights between small groups. He asks, hesitating on the crackers and pushing them away. "I just thought-it's just- well... you just always seem so pissed when someone mentions the word gay." I spit out words, scared for his reaction. He sighs, "That doesn't fucking mean I hate gays. Normally when I do that it's because someone's using the word 'gay' to hate on them, it just pisses me off, you know?" He asks, bringing the crackers back into his lap and biting into them. "Plus-" He adds on, "You're my best friend, if anything, you being gay is a blessing. I'll always support you." He says, glancing at me through the side of his eyes.
