Hiccup Haddock, from how to Train Your Dragon, and Merida, from brave, are both adventurers. They hang out all the time and one time during an adventure they stumble upon a young maiden lady named Grace. Grace was found in shambles, she had chains tied to her wrists and she was petrified. She was relieved to find someone to help her but was hesitant as she saw Toothless behind Hiccup and Merida. Grace tells her story about how she was kidnapped and taken to a cave where she was chained up and threatened by a bear named Mor'du.

Hiccup x Hybrid dragon! (DISCONTINUED) UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE -Merida was a girl, but also a dragon. A dragon girl who loves feeling free. Running through forest, bare feet cursing sharp stones. A savage girl who would do anything for her family. Hiccup was a small viking. Weak, scared, a helpless child judged by a village. He couldn't life a sword, an axe, or barley lift a mallet. He wasn't the Viking that could kill a dragon. But, he was the one to ride one. (I do not own this show, or the movies, not even the characters.) TW: mentions of blood, death, angst. uh I cant think of anymore. Slight cursing? New addition: Brave x Httyd crossover. Yep, I did it, girlie finna get a horse, her siblings, and all the other stuff.

During the visit Merida encounters an old childhood friend, Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III. When Merida is faced with nightmares of the past, and a strange fear of dragons she didn't know she possessed Hiccup decided that he is going to have to show her, things on Berk aren't as bad as they may seem. This short story explores the consequences of Brave on the Princess of Dunbroch.
