Since the foundation of the city, People have been disappearing mysteriously in CALABAR only to be found in shreds at the shores of the river or coast. Unknown to most of the people, they have been terrorized by the mermaids who have lived and inhabited the rivers and coast for thousands of years even before the city was found. Despite taking precautions to stay away from the waters, more people kept disappearing unexpectedly and just when it looks like the nightmare wouldn't end, things took a great turn.
