Perhaps dressage is poetry put into motion for all the world to see and enjoy.
The pair then dances away the arena, all eyes on them, with astonishing scores at the end of their tests.
The blood, sweat, tears. The fails. The successes. It is all worth it for the beautiful moment in which your horse and you become one with each other, no one else but you is there.
