The boy came closer to the cage and stared at the anxious girl.
Shaking with fear, she looked at him through the bars.
"Tell me, lass, do you like to play games?"

Yearned to understand this boy unplanned.
Her spirit, curious and bright,
Sought truth within this fabled sight.
But Neverland, a land of woe,
Drenched in magic, yet coldly so.
Peter Pan, a heart devoid of care,
Tugged at her innocence, ensnared.
He played with her like strings of fate,
Tempting her, casting a cruel bait.
He teased her dreams, her deepest desires,
But left her lost, amidst his mires.
Yet she, unyielding, held her ground,
A flower resilient, unwound.
She saw beyond his wicked charms,
And longed to mend his broken arms.

Lost Girl
The shadow took me high into the sky, flying upwards. Suddenly I felt myself go through a portal, it was unexpected, but I kept going. Out of the Enchanted Forest. When we came through, I strained my eyes to see through the mist that remained from the portal. But when it cleared, I saw a beautiful island, green, lush, huge. I filled with unexplainable dread. I knew that my suspicions had just been confirmed, this was Neverland, and I was flying with the shadow of the demon boy, Peter Pan. The shadow slowly descended towards a clearing that laid amidst the large amount of greenery. I followed and soon we touched ground. I found myself surrounded by dozens of teenage boys and found the shadow was gone. Lost Boys. A/N ~ This is my first book and therefore not the best example of my current style, but it was the first book I ever published here so I want to keep it public as a little reminder.
