Valerie Wheeler, 18, had always lived in the shadow of her sister, Nancy Wheeler. Nancy was perfect in their parents eyes and as for Valerie, they wanted her to be just like Nancy.
In desperate attempts to get her parents to see that she's not like Nancy, Valerie asks the one person that she knew would rile up her parents to help her.
Eddie Munson, 20, was a "freak" to the town of Hawkins. Eddie was raised on the poorer side of the tracks and was known for dealing drugs. After meeting with Valerie, he agrees to her deal to annoy her parents.
