A dark palomino Centaur walked along the halls of his school. His name is Orion. A Centaur's size is depended on the height of the horse breed they are, some are tall, some are ponies, and some are medium. Orion is one of the shortest stallions in his class, not a pony, but quite short, standing at exactly 14 hands high. He runs for his school's track team and he's a rather hyper stallion with a short temper when it comes to his friends and family, or anyone at this point getting hurt by others.
He may not have the best grades, but is one of the fastest Centaurs in school. He does live on a farm, however, helping his father and mother with many things. Although, being a farm boy, he still has his interest...
---------
The school's most popular Centaur, Scarrow. The heir to the throne of the Kingdom of Rinturia, the prince. He's 16 hands high. The royal family is known as Friesian Centaurs.
Scarrow was known for his good looks, family status, and how well he is at sports. He's normally surrounded by a lot of other Centaurs, but he's not what others think he's like...
---------
Centaurs are being described (in my universe), as [horse breed] Centaur. Ex: Quarter Horse Centaur, Mustang Centaur, and Thoroughbred Centaur. Their body types can be determined by the horse breed and Centaurs are sized by hands, so 14 hands high is pretty small for a horse. The human half of a Centaur is never measured, only the horse half.
Children are called 'Foals/Weanlings,' depending on the gender of the foal, males are called 'Colts', and females are called 'Fillies.'
Teens are called 'Yearlings,' depending on the gender of the yearling, it's still 'Colts' for males and 'Fillies' for females, non-binary yearlings will just be called 'Yearlings.'
Male adult Centaurs are called 'Stallions,' female adult Centaurs are called 'Mares.' Non-Binary are just referred to as 'Centaurs.'
