When a faerie turns 19, they are given the choice to explore the Human Realm for one whole year. At the end of that year, they must decide if they want to stay in Faeland, home to the six great faerie lands,or join the humans and never step foot in Faeland again. This experience is called 'New Horizons'. Meet Burgundy, whose New Horizons exploration is coming to an end in just two weeks, and she hasn't made her decisions if she is staying or going. Because The Human Realm is so fun! She's reunited with her cousin, Demi, who went on her own New Horizons journey and never came back. She works at a nightclub. She's met a boy she likes(even though she has a boyfriend in Faeland waiting for her). She just needs a few more days, or weeks, or months ,to make her decision. But her time is running out and so is her welcome. Demi, who is tired of Burgundy reminding her of the life she left behind, is trying her best to persuade her cousin to go back to Faeland and stick to her original decision. But is unsuccessful in her efforts, and has to think quickly on her feet to find a way to get Burgundy to be gone and stay gone. Meanwhile Burgundy's best friend, Antigone, loves Faeland. But hates their home land of Tinker-The Industrial Faerie land-they're all just a bunch of mechanics! So she is thinking of ways to find an illustrious Faerie man who will sweep her away to a life of luxury. But until then she is just your regular, square, paper-filing faerie. Because of her job title, Burgundy makes a strange and unlawful request which Antigone is unsure if she should oblige.

Told from three different perspectives, In Between Faeland Book One focuses on the tough decisions we face everyday in friendship and family when it comes to boundaries, along with the mask we show our loved ones in order to keep the peace.

The Rider's Legend

52 parts Complete

Hated by the people she's sworn to protect, dragon rider Neely Lynch searches for her stolen dragon while struggling to control the dark powers inside her. ***** After the Culling of Naughton -- a horrific slaughter that led to the murder of several dragon riders and the destruction of two separate armies -- Neely Lynch is on the warpath. Unbeknownst to most, Neely and her friends survived the Culling and are determined to reunite with their kidnapped dragons at any cost (even if that means leaving a trail of broken and bloody bodies behind them). But finding her dragon soon becomes the least of her problems when Neely discovers her disappearance after the Culling has only added to her reputation as the infamous Vidalin Rider. Hated and scorned by the people she's sworn to protect, Neely must find a way to prove she's not the villain everyone thinks she is before her dark and deadly powers, which are slowly growing beyond her control, transform her into the very thing she's trying not to be. [The Rider's Legend can be read as Book 3 in The Rider series, or as a standalone -- but note that it will spoil Book 1 and 2] [[word count: 150,000-200,000 words]]
