Bittersweet

Unlike most of this world, the ocean is beautiful. However, like the rest of this world, it's deceiving underneath all its beauty. From above, all you can see is a blanket of water glittering under the sunlight, a gorgeous shade of turquoise. But as you get deeper, you can feel the waves, the darkness, the cruelty of its beauty. You'll feel yourself sinking lower and lower as the layers of water pile above you. You'll feel the weight of the entire lake on your chest as you await the death that will surely come and greet you with open arms.

At death, I wish to be greeted by the ocean's vast kingdom. I'll be the one holding the weight of the entire world, placed right at the center of it. The whole world will be on top of me, not some cheap rock that has my name scratched on it. I will not be satisfied with insincere condolences and worthless tears by my fellow rotten humans as they toss a bouquet of fake roses they bought from the dollar stone onto my grave.
