If the og was good, this will be awesome! Or really bad, both are possible.

**This story takes place in 9017**

Prophecy. The big corporations, known world-wide for create vast new technologies that seem to get better every day. Little do the public know that they're hiding a bigger secret...

On May 7th, 9017, ten individuals went missing. The only thing that the individuals had in common was that they were all 16. They didn't have much to go off of and there weren't many leads, so the case went cold. Unbeknownst to many, these individuals were taken to be subjects for testing at Prophecy. Of those tested, eight survived, and they gained animal features varying depending on what they were tested with.

The eight surviving individuals;
Jay Young, a 7" pale girl with long, blond hair and blue eyes.
Stevie Hendrix, a 5"11 girl with brown hair that she occasionally ties up and reddish-pink eyes.
Goose Rayfeather, a 7"2 pale guy with black hair that's usually neatly tied up. Often wears a suit and has gray eyes.
Jordie Songs, a 6" boy with a knack for joking and short, blond hair.
Aelia Hardrock, a 6"2 pale girl with medium-length blond hair that has two golden highlights.
Stormy Redfeather, a 7" dark-skinned girl with long black hair that's usually in braids.
May Hudson, a 4" girl with gray hair and a wild personality.
Adam Johnson, a 6"4 guy with brown hair and blue eyes.

IMPORTANT NOTICE, PLEASE READ!: Though this story will remain up, it is not a polished product I'm all too proud of. Someday, some of the book's aspects may change; plot, some characters, etc. Think of this like a first draft, and I'm working on the not-first-draft. :D) Thank you so much for bearing with me, and I hope you enjoy I Am Not A Robot as it is, and as it will be! _____________ Bolts. The new-age phrase for robots. You may think that robots that can think for themselves is a bad idea. Well, so does the Government. Nobody knows the exact year. Or how long robots have been banned on punishment of death. All anybody knows is smoke, acid rain, and metal. And nobody thinks anything of it. Robots with minds as alive as yours being murdered in the slowest way possible? Normal.There are no uprisings. There are no rebellions. As far as everyday people go, the world is perfectly fine. As long as there are no robots. Because if there are, it's a kangaroo court on their fate. Aaran Sozos has spent the majority of her young life accused of being a robot. And as I'm sure you're aware, reader, if people call you something enough, you start to believe it. But when a classmate calls upon her help to find a missing brother, they need to search outside of the city. A city that is suspended above the earth. That is inhabited by robots. All I can tell you now is that they're doing a better job of keeping the mother nature happy than we ever could. But keep in mind, mother nature doesn't mind murder, either.

"Who's out there?" One of the men yelled. Of course only silence met them. I remained quiet and waited for the group to start moving again. "Maybe it was just an animal." Someone whispered. The person, who I assumed was the captain of the small squad, signaled for them to walk again. They clearly showed fear as they kept going; brandishing their weapons to guard themselves with. "Two are holding lanterns. I'll tell you when you're too close to them." I heard my friend whisper in my ear. I followed the men as I picked up another branch and waited for the right time to break it. They continued to walk through the forest, turning their heads in every direction as if an animal might lunge at them and rip their throats out. I guess in a way I was going to do that. "Go back a few feet." My friend whispered. I carefully distanced myself from the group and waited. "Where is she?" I quickly snapped the stick as soon as he finished asking the question. They stopped and two soldiers raised their lanterns to shine its light in the darkness. I quickly hid behind a tree before both of them turned where I was. A low frustrated growl came from one of the men, "The girl's playing with us. She's out here following our every move." How paranoia can cloud the mind. At nine years old, Silver decided to leave her village for the forest. Since then, she's been hunted; everyday is a fight for her life, every breath she takes could be her last, but she's determined to stay alive. Her life isn't the kind anyone would want to live but she's managed to survive this long so, what's a few more years?
