If these past two years have taught Fleur Spencer anything, it would be that the universe is never on her side. Thanks to a sick twist of fate she's just locked eyes with her bitter ex-rival Lottie Fowler who just moved in next door. 4 years ago the two became fast friends and later developed into early enemies. 3 years ago the two set their rivalry and hatred aside at high school prom for a takedown. 2 years ago they share a steamy dance before college enrollment which was swiftly interrupted. 1 year ago after an energy-sucking debate in college fleur broke down on Lottie's shoulder and later disappeared without a single digital trace. And now to the present, the two are reunited after Lottie's parent's divorce has been finalised and she moves into the house next door. A fresh spin on an oversold tale of 'the girl next door' between the girl who always gets left behind, falling in love with the girl who can not promise she will stay.

Rose and Swan Boarding School's social heirarchy is disrupted with the arrival of a new student who catches the eye of the star of the hockey team. Can Edward and Gaveston keep their relationship a secret from the malicious student body and faculty? Definitely not. Rose and Swan is a highly religious boarding school nestled deep in the mountains. It's the perfect place to hide, but Edward is about to find out you can't hide from yourself. He had no problem hiding his sexuality, not until Piers Gaveston, his new roommate, shows up. Based loosely on Kit Marlowe's play 'Edward II'. Feels like a teen rom-com. I wrote this as the book I wished I'd had as a teenager, that is to say I wanted it to be a sort of comforting, relatable world, as well as genuinely fun. That said it does follow the basic plot of the play so there are some unsettling scenes. Namely Chapters: 15, and 23 on. (If you think the cover is too gay I assure you it's what Marlowe would have wanted. If you think the book is too gay I PROMISE you, it's what Marlowe would have wanted). Trigger/Content Warning: some graphic violence that may be disturbing to some readers (chapters 21--on, Epilogue is fine). Some teenage sexuality (teenagers kiss, it is implied teenagers have sex, chapter 19 primarily, but all scenes are PG-13 level sensuality). Brief teenage level crude humor. Self harm is discussed throughout (worst depiction in chapter 14). Conversion therapy discussed at length and briefly depicted (Chapter 15). A character suffers from gender dyphoria and is dead-named on page (chapter 20). Graphic violence/torture after Chapter 21. Be aware of your mental state and seek help as needed.

Aline Marlowe is a university student who is enjoying the privilege she has of attending a university in London. She has high dreams she aspires to reach. Though that was a long time ago, she hadn't expected to meet him again after years since they had last laid eyes on each other. They met once again, she couldn't believe her eyes. She recognized him in an instant. She didn't know what to feel..Her emotions swirling inside her. Happiness, sadness, hatred... "Aline Marlowe?" His watercolor eyes widened in surprise after he finally realized who she was. He finally found out. She would be as surprised as him if she hadn't realized earlier. "Felix Sharpe, right?" She asked back as a response, to confirm his doubt. He merely nodded in silence as he looked at her in disbelief etched across his face. She was also in disbelief meeting him again. Why is it always him... Her once childhood crush. Fate toyed with her again. Her once unrequited love..Would it be indulged? Or will it be left as unrequited?
