Vegas was in a coma for a month and he couldn't fight for what was his after his father's death. Korn gave everything to Porsche.
Not only did Porsche become the head of the minor family, but the house and every last penny now belonged to him.
Pete chose Vegas and whatever comes with that he was ready to face it. They were a family now.
Vegas comes out of the hospital not knowing that the bodyguards, the house, and even the bed he will be sleeping on is Porsche's now.
Pete will know all about that, but won't be ready to tell Vegas the ugly truth, making their relationship vulnerable.
Vegas will think that everything is like they were used to be, but nothing is the same anymore. Vegas really has nothing after all. Will Vegas and Pete have their "happily ever after?" or the lies and the friendship will get in the way of everything?

It is just a little idea I had for what would happen if Pete couldn't forgive Vegas betraying him and went on his own journey to find a life away from his past. I wanted to see Pete with someone who would never betray him and would treat him with respect. I also want to see Vegas grow and realize his mistake and come to understand that because of his own selfish pride he will have to either move on from the only person he ever truly loved and trusted or love him from a distance forever. There are people who get offended when there's an LGBTQIA+ couple and they call them 'husband & wife' BUT there are also those who are OKAY with this. I have a friend in a homosexual relationship who's being called by his bf as 'wife' hehe. In the Christmas special of KP novel, I concluded Pete is okay with this since Vegas refers to him as his wife and he doesn't complain.)
