Suddenly I realized , why was I so attracted to him? And him to me? I barely even knew him! 
I couldn't fathom an explanation. Not even in the darkest recesses of my brain. Then again I couldn't concentrate with his dark intense seemingly grey eyes peering at me from across the table.
