Mouse is a post-apocalyptic story set after the Origins saga. The story follows a timid girl named Mouse Greylock and her turbulent life in the Hand-Of-God Wall. Due to the ever present threat of what lies behind the safety of the Wall, humanity is slowly backed into the corner. Ms. Jaxon, director of the Cloning Humanitarian  Services Project, is ready to fight back. A three part test is administered to teens from all across the Wards in order to choose the very best Donors for the project. Mouse is chosen as the representative of the Domestic Class. But the day of her selection, her Limelight Ward is ravished by an unforeseeable attack. Mouse is taken to the hospital in the CHSP's headquarter and altered into someone entirely different. Can the new Mouse do what the original couldn't? Survive and protect? And can the new Mouse do what any human couldn't? Come back from beyond the Wall?
