The Decades War continues to ravage the land; humans and elves close in on the western territories as the ancestral peoples of the Old Country are decreasing in number at an alarming rate. Driven from their lands the Eagle-People are going extinct, while the Fairies hide beyond their waterfalls even as more bodies pile up. Unsurprisingly, the thunder of a rebellion grows in the west beyond the Athar Keep, where dragons lie in wait.

A lost eaglet torn cruelly from her family must now travel beyond the Keep, the only shelter left for those like her. However, what she'll find over the Wall will change the tide of the war.

Note: All rights reserved, original novel by me, Nia Valenciano. Cover image is also mine, created in Procreate. All illustrations (characters, maps, placed etc) are also by me, all rights reserved. A novel that explores childish hope in dire circumstances. Please read in the pages format and the cream/sepia colored pages settings, just for the sake of the experience and enjoying my illustrations as part of the page.
I'd rate this 13/15+, like Rothfuss Kingkiller Chronicles (they depict similar themes), however I'm also not sure how serious the depictions might turn out, so I'll be changing the rating to mature.
Trigger Warning: there will be violence, death, lots of sadness and tears, references and depictions of genocide, racism (albeit against fantasy races, but still), and such. It is a tough world to live in.

Dragonfire: Celestia by Iluna-_05
47 parts Complete Mature
In the world of Dragonfire, anything is possible. Flying, teleportation, invisibility, the ability to create a lightning storm on a whim...anything can be done. And anything can exist. Goblins, Orcs, Dragons, Dwarves, Kitsunes...there are countless races, and countless abilities. A world of fantasy in which anything is achievable. Or so it seems. After all, everything has a cost. And victory...victory is the most costing of all. Across the Black Sea, guarded by the Leviathan, there exists a large land separated into five territories. Celestia, Arvan, Ingres, Illicen, and Arumi. These five territories are named after those who control them. At least, that is how it used to be. From a distant land, the Snake Kingdom managed to bypass the Leviathan, and invade these five territories! Under the guidance of General Clauve, they crushed everyone in sight, until their only remaining opponent was Celestia. But they made a mistake, and Celestia capitalized. In a crushing defeat, the Snake Kingdom was bested after nearly 8 years of conflict. After the war ended, Albedo Aria, a soldier from Celestia, was promoted to the rank of General. But she didn't feel like a hero. Suffering from severe PTSD, this story follows her as she tries to overcome the nightmares of war, and move on from the terrible things she was forced to do. She was raised to be a soldier, and joined the war from the age of eleven. As a soldier of Celestia, she could never, and still cannot ever disobey any orders. When war calls, she must answer. Whether she is truly willing to or not. But after four years without conflict, surely things couldn't reach that state again? Or perhaps that isn't the case. After all, her dear cousin must deliver a letter to her. A letter telling her that the Snake Kingdom is on the rise in their very own land. A letter telling her that every sliver of happiness she has gained after the war ended will be lost. A letter telling her that she must return to war...
The Light of Miera: A Guard's Request (Book 1) by WriterMashashy
19 parts Complete Mature
(Epic Fantasy/LGBT Romance) COMPLETED & PUBLISHING A Guard's Request will be published with Fantastic Books Publishing in October of 2023, but I have decided to leave this early draft up for anyone who can't wait until then. With the creation of the Valnyr Galaxy, the Guardians vowed never to interfere with the affairs of the mortal realm. However, when sinister forces seek to steal the power of the Manastream, Alamantra's Guardian finds that some oaths are easier to keep than others. Life is about to change for the citizens of Freya as a blight sweeps across the land, corrupting the mana held within their bodies. Princess Arafrey finds herself stripped of all she holds dear, alone on the frontlines. However, there is hope as guards Reyla and Tharin take on a quest from the Gods to cure the sickness, leaving Freya to traverse the Ten Kingdoms in search of The Hand of Miera. But will they be able to find it in time? Meanwhile, in the East, The Duran Empire marshals their forces as the Emperor seeks to invade the starved desserts of Sudra. But the Sudra hold a terrible secret and Queen Nymati will not go down without a fight. * * * Imagine if Tim Burton and Joss Whedon got together to make a story to rival Full Metal Alchemist or Fairy Tail: that's my writing style. I hit some pretty deep topics but I try keep it light and entertaining. Trigger Warnings/Mature Content: I will post trigger warnings at the beginning of scenes to warn people, but let's make a list here just to be sure. Sex, survivors guilt, suicide, rape, murder, gay/lesbian sex, masturbation, assault, torture, addiction... There maybe more I missed, let me know if you feel I should add anything else. Drekablóð Rising:Fire(Book 1) by Phoenix-Dragoness
34 parts Complete
The war that started it all. Five hundred years ago a war erupted in Elementa when humans started hunting a revered race called the Drekablóð; half humanoid, half dragon. The humans saw them as abominations for their differences; fear of a race more powerful than another makes others do rash and deadly things. After the humans slaughtered a whole settlement of Drekablóð, the magical creatures of Elementa rose up in defense of the Drekablóð. The humans likewise called on their dwarf and elf allies. Thus Bellum ex Quod Draco ipsos Troiugenas began. For ten long, bloody years the races fought hard for the future of the Drekablóð. One wanting to exterminate them like pest. The other wanting them to survive and flourish. In the end, the humans won, but their victory cost them and the rest of Elementa dearly. The alicorns and dwarves disappeared. The wyverns and elves were practically extinct. Dragons were a rare sight. Only the humans survived to tell the tale of how they wiped out the evil monsters that tried to take their lands. Elementa, originally a lush and beautiful land, was now split into four different climates, equally harsh in their own way. But the humans prevailed in cultivating Elementa and chasing away any remaining magical creatures into her far corners. With the resistance of magical creatures no longer in their way, the humans continued their 'sport' of hunting the Drekablóð into extinction. Half a millennium later, the seeress Carmentha foresaw the return of the Drekablóð, and restoring Elementa to her prime and defeating the wicked and harsh rulership of Elementa. These four children have been destined to save Elementa before they were ever born. Can they overcome their difficulties and save Elementa? Or will they fail and allow Elementa to fall into darkness forever? There will be some minimum swearing and minimum acts of violence. I would rate this book for 14 and up.
Destiny of Fire: The Normality (WotP) by Rangerlil
34 parts Complete
"I felt so caged again, as if I had wings but I wasn't allowed to fly, a voice but I wasn't allowed to speak. It was a scary feeling at first, but later you just get used to it, but you just want freedom and the feeling of safety. Why did I have to be caged in this dump? I thought about the Phoenix again. Did the Phoenix hate me? What had I ever done to this Phoenix? I balled my fists up in anger as I stared outside the window still, watching a great brown eagle fly outside." ("The Normality" is part 1 of "Destiny of Fire", the first book of the "War of the Phoenix" series) For quite a long time, a legendary bird called the "Phoenix" tried to possess a woman and her children to come in hopes of taking over the world. When it gets ready to try and possess its next victim, Alisha Quill, a group called the Storm-seekers and another group called the Spreaders are hard at work to stop the Phoenix in any way possible, including asking for the help of the most powerful man in the world; Almaroz. Meanwhile, nine heroes rise from the most unlikely places and even though they don't know it, their paths are set to cross and their destiny falls under the feet of the storm-seekers and the Phoenix itself. Achievements: #32 in Steampunk #105 in Prophecy #152 in Phoenix WARNING: It's my first story, so it probably won't be top quality, and the chapters are pretty long. "A Great Storm Is Coming..." Underground Revolution

17 parts Ongoing

In a world of breathtaking beauty, where humans and elves coexisted, a fantasy revolution was sparked by humanity's lust for power. The elves, being the first inhabitants of the planet, had developed a deep understanding of life and peace, earning them the trust of the great dragons, which granted them elemental powers. Which the elves returned their gratitude by treating their beloved creatures as the God's they were. As humans evolved at a rapid pace, they began to encroach on elven territories, leading to the creation of canyons and mountains to separate the two races. Despite this, a forbidden love blossomed between a human and an elf, but it was short-lived due to their differing lifespans. However, their friendship endured, and the earth elves built a bridge and paths to facilitate harmony between the two races. Over time, the elves shared their magical knowledge with humans, but humanity's selfish desires led them to destroy the elven race and their city of Amma. Despite the odds, a small group of elves continued to live secretly among humans, awaiting the day when they could rise again.
