This is a love story based on Ian Malcolm and Loralie Grant. Lori is Alan Grants 20 year old daughter. She, like him and Ellie, dig up bones. However she could also tell you anything ever known about dinos. Name it she could tell you its entire life story most likely. Ian knows all you ever could about the chaos theory. As he should. When they meet they are charmed by the other but what will happen when they have to survive what may be the end of their lives together. Read more to find out, also for my sake, Ian doesnt have kids. Clarissa Hammond
The first book following the first installation of Jurrasic Park. Clarissa Hammond is the youngest daughter of John Hammond. Clarissa is a paleontologist alongside Dr. Alan Grant and is good friends with Ellie Sattler. Being almost thirty-one years old and adopted by the CEO of InGen and Jurrasic Park at ten years old, Clarissa believes that she is old enough to decide for herself. Clarissa is amazed at what her adopted father has created but is frightened by the outcome. These creatures were created and destroyed by God for a reason, who knows what chaos will happen when the said creatures decide it is time for them to make their lives in a new world. Wanting Alan Grant's opinion about the park, Hammond brings a few select individuals to witness everything he's created. What Hammond didn't count on was that Ian Malcolm would become interested in his adopted daughter. Will he successfully keep Clarissa out of reach of Ian Malcolm and for his park to open without complications? Or will Ian get his Mrs. Ex-Malcolm and the park falls to ruin? Meeting a t-rex in the flesh was unexpected, but meeting a chaotician wasn't very uneventful either. Maya Hyde is the newest paleontologist on the market, her name being tied to finding a new dinosaur skeleton, but obviously not just any cluster of bones, as she managed to dig up an infamous tyrannosaurus-rex with her team. It made headlines the second she arranged the excavation. Although she caught the attention of people she didn't want any. For example, her uncle, John Hammond, invites her to this mysterious island to see some stuff she had never seen before. By nature, she rejects him, but upon hearing that he would be funding her t-rex project she quickly changes her mind. That's how she ends up getting too close to dinosaurs for her comfort.
