Winnie needed a change. After breaking up with her boyfriend of almost 5 years, she just couldn't take the hustle and bustle of New York City anymore. Maybe Los Angeles could be a good change for an artist like her. Except . . . Her car decides it can't quite make it there, and now she's stuck in Death Valley Junction, California, with almost nothing in sight but desert except, thank God, a small garage and an old run down hotel painted white and blue, almost like a piece of the Mediterranean out here in the middle of nowhere. So, she knocks on the lobby door, and her life changes forever thanks to the rough looking cowboy that opens the door. Set in the 1970s, inspired by the real Amargosa Hotel and Opera House and loosely based on its history.
