Through the help of a new friend, will she be able to find the peace she needs? ***** A/N: This story was inspired by a true event that occurred near where I live. A woman (who had kids and a husband) had lost her life. This initially started a spiral of thoughts leading to the creation of this story. There are a lot of mirroring qualities between my life and Maribell's, but unlike the lovely woman who had passed (I personally don't know her, but may she rest in peace), I don't have kids or a significant other, so I had to put my own spin on things. I also added in texting and driving, because the combination is unsafe. May you find this story to be as eye opening as I did when I wrote it! Comments and votes are welcomed and encouraged. "Oh my darling, when you smile, it is like a song" - "Obviously," She started. There was a nervous shake in her voice that made me tilt my head in her hands. "Obviously you don't understand the agreement." She repeated after quickly composing herself. I rolled my eyes, but let her continue. "Where you go, I go. Where I go, you go." She told me sternly. Her thumbs grazed my cheeks and heat rose on my skin where she touched. I couldn't tell if this was just Sophia being caring or if she was maybe feeling more. My brain told me that this was all a friendly gesture, but my body and it's stupid hormones were telling me that it was something more. And your brain can never really overcome true instincts. I moved closer towards her, shrinking the already limited space between us. This time it was Sophia's turn to blush which only made my smile grow larger. Things changed. It happened slow....Then, it suddenly picked up. It took on a life of it's own. SHIT! The weaker are on top. They seem to have it all. I have become the last thing, I ever wanted. Nothing should be bought or sold. There should never be a price on existing. I'm way too old for this shit....What ever the hell this is meant to be! Will this work out? Or will I just kill her. But. I killed my friends and it's my fault. But feels unexpectedly euphoric... Kyra is the Devils daughter but she doesn't know it. Soon she meets Coen (a guy with a rich history and inhumanly talents), little do they know what's in store for them. "I have just stabbed my favourite teacher. What is wrong with me. There's blood coming out of her chest, more and more as her heart pumps. But it's already too late because I see my scissors sticking up from her ribs as I feel unnaturally good. All of the guilt has somehow oozed out of me. I remember that I feel good only after the person has died so she must be dead. There is silence for about 10 seconds then everyone starts screaming and runs to the other side of the room to me. I don't know why but this is kinda fun. I slowly walk towards them, smirking, as the guy who bullied me for me whole life is shaking and grabbing onto his best friends shoulders. I'm not going to hurt them but it is fun torturing them. He has made my life miserable for 11 years so I'm not going to leave without out evening out the mental and physical indents he has had on my life. All those sleepless nights of crying, cut and bruises he has given me. I continue to walk even closer, everyone has started to back slowly away from him. He lets out a stupid high-pitched scream as I whisper to him." I swear I'm not a psychopath.
