Takemichi was starting to become mental ill from the many times that he had fails to save his loved ones, and the constant blame from his friends, causing him to develop Dissociative identity disorder, in other words multiple personality's to cope with his failure.
this is my first time writing a story, and English is not my first language, so sorry for any misspelling, wrong punctuation, or any other problems.

Okay so basically Takemichi is depressed because of what he saw, who could blame him tho. Takemichi can control how far in the past he wants to go, so he decides to save everyone for the millionth time Takemichi is sick because of the overuse of his power. If he does it a few more times he could die. Takemichi does not care, because his friends are more important to him.
