Year 3071. Exoplanet Steel-1, the only planet in the system along with it's moon, was once a site for mass drone production factory called "Chimera's Dawn" by the JC Jenson company, later modified into a secret research facility, renamed to "Chimera's Fall", to investigate what caused the destruction of Earth and reason behind drones turning against humanity. Few years after the events on the Earth, something known as "The Absolute Solver" created a deadly energy shockwave on Steel-1, resulted in planet's decaying state, annihilated all humans, destroyed most of the machinery, and deactivated or damaged most of the drones on the planet. The surviving worker drones have established a survival base in an abandoned Communications and Surveillance Center called the "Steel Eye". The story begins with an experimental prototype drone called Zero from the "Project Firewall" and his friend, Millie, a maintenance drone who survived the shockwave, managed to reactivate themselves, confirm past events thanks to the large amount of data stored in the facility, and ultimately decided to relocate from the destroyed facility in order to search for other survivors, but before that there is one more objective left, which is to find the cause of the recent appearance of a strange energy reading in the containment cell... https://youtu.be/-yV_kv1P3co ^ Link to Main Theme of the Story :D This is my first fanfiction, my first real fanmade (focused on story and characters, not shipping, but expect a romance story arc there) story and first time doing something publicly, so consider me a noob. (Note to the reader: some of the lore in this AU may seem wacky and even a little cringe at first, but as per the title, I, along with a few friends of mine, intended this AU to push the limits of the Murder Drones storyline to the fullest extent possible. I tried my best to give realistic explanations for everything that happens. My friends gave me prompts for lore and I wove them into the story as seamlessly as I could. Also, I would like to mention that there are mentions of abortion, domestic abuse and toxic relationships. Please enjoy this in a safe and healthy way. Oh, and in this AU JC Jenson, along with Earth, still exists. They're the ones who sent the Disassembly drones.
