Book 6: Showdown (The Kid Emperor of Occultoria)
With his wits, some magical abilities and some friends to assist him, Max must reunite all the rebellious parts of the strife-ridden Occultorian Empire to restore the balance of and keep the peace between the Natural and Supernatural Worlds.
In Book 6, Max's aunt Empress Lilith has sent Irina the Magician to the Imperial Court to get rid of him so that the Empress could reclaim the Occult Throne without any opposition. To make matters worse, in order to obtain an annulment from Princess Sanchia, Max signed over certain powers to the Matriarch and is now forced to deal with the unpleasant consequences.
In the meantime, Max must find Jessica, who mysteriously faded away to the tune of a whistle. As he sets out to reconquer Celio, a legendary monster proves to be an enormous obstacle.
Will Max successfully find Jessica and reconquer Celio? Or will he be forced to return empty-handed?
