''Fawn thought for a moment, 'I suppose my last words would be some sort of goodbye' she mumbled. 'Really?' Wren laughed, 'mine would be some sort of cool quote, like, "thou never shall never die when thy is loved by many!"'. Fawn laughed, "That sounds so cliché." It fell into a comforting silence. Fawn stared at the moon. She really didn't know what her last words would be. She rested her head on Wren's shoulder, closing her eyes. She wouldn't need to know what her last words would be in a long time. '' 

Fawn dreams of becoming her clans Healer but she struggles with her duties and her own personal life with Wren, a member of an enemy clan. Fawns' sister, Piper, wants to become the greatest warrior in her clan but her older sister Fawn refuses to let her out in the wild where her journey as the greatest warrior begins.
